The UAE National Day, also known as (Al Yawm Al Watani or UAE Union Day) stands for the nationalization of the British Protectorate Treaties, which were announced in 1968 and fell on the commemoration of the government unification of the seven emirates in 1971 which joined to frame the modern-day country, headed by Sheik Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the alliance’s first president.
